MEP design for an 80,000 SF tenant fit up. In addition to designing the layout for office and conference space the tenant required 5,000 SF of electronic laboratory/server space that required supplemental cooling and standby power. Additional design also include required design for a full service kitchen/cafeteria and fitness center.

MEP/FP design of a four story, 115,000 SF Class A corporate office building to support the growing corporate community in the North Atlanta region. Systems were designed to support all first class office space standards and expectations. The building provides parking for low-emitting and fuel efficient vehicles, bike storage, low flow lavatories, rainwater collection, energy efficient lighting and HVAC systems, and air flow and CO2 monitoring. This building was the fourth LEED Core & Shell Gold Certified Building in Georgia, and the first in Gwinnett County.

National Grid

Core & Shell Office Building, Tenant Interiors

This 312,000 SF office building is being used for the regional headquarters for National Grid. AHA provided MEP design for both the Core& Shell of the building, as well as the interior renovation. The building incorporated stormwater capture for flushing toilets, waterless urinals, low-flow sinks, lavatories, and showers, high-efficiency rooftop cooling, condensing gas-fired boilers for heating, a cutting edge low power lighting design approach, a 235 KW roof mounted photovoltaic array, and outside air monitoring and control. This building achieved Platinum certification under LEED for Core and Shell v2.0. At the time of certification, it was one of only 13 Platinum LEED core/shell certifications in the world. The interior renovation also received Platinum Certification under LEED-CI.
