AHA Consulting Engineers serves healthcare clients throughout United States and abroad. Over the past 20 years, AHA has provided engineering on numerous healthcare facilities and related buildings including acute care hospitals, outpatient centers, MOBs, ambulatory surgical buildings, emergency rooms, diagnostic labs, and physicians suites. In our design of these facilities, we have addressed the major issues that are critical to operation. Our designs have included redundant systems (power/HVAC/water), specialized exhaust systems with the ability to maintain positive or negative pressure, and clean steam for humidification systems. While addressing these issues, we work closely with the design team and the operations staff to ensure reliability of systems, ease of maintenance, and efficient system operation; all while being cognizant of the project budget.
Murfreesboro Medical Clinic
Murfreesboro, Tennessee
AHA provided MEP design for a new 3-story, 148,000 SF medical office building including both shell and core, as well as tenant build out. The project will house state of the art medical offices that include CT, MRI, and surgical suites along with the administrative offices for the regional hospital on an adjacent property. The HVAC design also includes an atrium smoke exhaust system. This project was produced in REVIT.
Fitaihi Medical Center
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
The Fitaihi International Medical Center consists of a 300-bed, multi-specialty hospital focused on healthcare services of particular significance to the entire region of the Kingdom such as, the treatment of diabetes, musculoskeletal & pediatric complaints. The 400,000 square feet facility features a cardiac centre, dialysis & ophthalmology facilities, a comprehensive pharmacy, rehabilitation centers, health clubs for both men & women and an auditorium/lecture hall for educational and teleconferencing events.
Atlantic Orthopedics
Wilmington, North Carolina
The finished project, totaling approximately 38,000 square feet, houses space for six (6) exam modules, each with five (5) exam rooms and supporting doctor and nurse spaces, a digital x-ray suite, a large physical therapy suite and accommodations for mobile MRI; service all feeding off centralized reception, check-out and scheduling services.
