Manufacturing/Industrial
Robust, powerful and functional are terms critical to good Manufacturing and Industrial facility designs. The design of Industrial and Manufacturing facilities has to primarily address function and energy efficiency. While Manufacturing and Industrial facilities use vast quantities of energy, a wise design and careful equipment selection can save significant operating costs. AHA's Manufacturing and Industrial designs include a facility for Caterpillar, a food process plant and an aluminum extrusion plant.

Vicor Robotics
Andover, Massachusetts
AHA designed this 125,000 SF expansion for Vicor Corporation. Vicor Robotics designs, manufactures and markets modular power components and complete power systems used in the communications, data processing, industrial controls, test equipment, medical and defense electronic markets. Engineers use the combined advantages of Vicor components to create compact, highly functional, economical products with streamlined development cycles that minimize time to market.
Sekisui Chemical Company
Winchester, Kentucky
New 82,000 SF facility consisting of approximately 68,000 SF of fully conditioned factory space and the balance consisting of office space and miscellaneous support spaces. The project was very architecturally sensitive and the vision and appearance of the buildings were an essential part of the design. Consequently the location of all of the MEP systems were very critical to both form and function. The main cooling source proposed is a central chilled water plant which needed to be strategically located.
