AHA’s Information Technology Department supports the engineering and
design staff with the hardware, applications, and technical support
to produce a wide range of project documentation and to enhance our
engineering expertise.
|
Our primary network is a Windows 2003/2008 based Network running on HP
servers with over 4 Terabytes of storage space using Windows7 and XP
desktop computers, Cisco switching technology, and multiple T1
connections to the internet in order to provide our employees with a
fast reliable workstation for servicing our clients.

AHA uses Newforma
Project Management software along with our Microsoft Exchange 2003/
Outlook 2007 e-mail system to manage, process and file all project
data and to assist with the transfer of documents quickly and
securely between AHA and our clients. We have the capability to
translate data to and from virtually any major CADD or word
processing format. With our two (2) OCE TDS700 laser plotters, we
print and plot on a variety of media, from “A” size sketches to full
size construction drawings.
|
Using AutoCAD MEP 2010, and Revit MEP 2010, and the latest third party
engineering applications, our engineers and designers easily
share data, update architectural information, and coordinate
between trades.
We
take advantage of the latest BIM technologies and integration to
incorporate information from a variety of sources and
applications into design documents.
Our commitment to 100% computer production of
construction documents for all projects insures clear
presentation, continuity of standards and the flexibility to
easily implement changes both during the project design phase
and in the future.
Our computer system is the information backbone of our firm, and the
high literacy level of our staff is a reflection of its importance
to our business. Our
ongoing objective is to provide a system that allows our engineers,
designers and clients to pursue and produce creative solutions to
design challenges by providing a powerful design, analysis and
management tools in an accessible, integrated network.
