Early 2010 construction started on the new Boat Landing at the end of Pier 1.  The old barge was removed and new piles were driven into the sea bed.  Then the new barge and ramp system was installed and a new covered waiting area built.  Lighting was installed and by June the new landing was completed and our old friends from Boston Harbor Cruises were once again able to use the landing to pickup and drop off visitors "every hour on the hour till 5 PM..." (LOL)
