Mark McNaron never set out to be an engineer. A drafting job in high school taught him the fundamentals and importance of making deliberate design choices to garner successful results. Since then, he’s worked hard and remained faithful to a challenging profession for over three decades – progressing from an electrical draftsman to Partner and Managing Director of AHA’s Southeast Region. He loves bringing ideas to life, working closely with the client to meet their goals and maximize profitability. A father and avid outdoorsman, Mark is inspired by the young professionals at AHA who bring unique perspectives to project challenges. He works closely with these up-and-coming engineers to mentor them into successful, contributing team members who solve MEP space allocation issues and drive end-user satisfaction. Mark emboldens his teammates at AHA to provide superior customer service and deliver unique projects like The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Grand Cayman after it was decimated by Hurricane Ivan. He also led AHA for the design of MEP systems for 11 new student housing projects on nine Georgia college campuses through a comprehensive P3 initiative for the Board of Regents.
