This new 148′ tall, 201,000 SF ASRS freezer structure at Americold’s Gateway campus is a rack-supported facility, which houses 97,000 SF of -10 degree freezer space. Attached to the freezer are 48,000 SF of truck and rail dock buildings, and the 27,000 SF ASRS buffer freezer building, along with 18,000 SF of office.

AHA provided BIM services. We developed a time-based construction process visualization, a 4-D BIM simulation, that focused on installation of the IPMs, racks, roof, and blocks of the surrounding low-rise structures next to the 148’ freezer structure.
