In mission critical and high-performance building environments, uncertainty can be costly. AHA’s commissioning team helps construction management groups and owners alike to help reduce risk and gain confidence through support services, ensuring smooth project delivery from early evaluation through final energization and turnover.

When a client is aiming for LEED Certification, we can be their expert Lead Commissioning Authority (Lead CxA)—the independent professional that manages and oversees the LEED commissioning process—AHA guides teams through planning, coordination, and performance verification, helping projects meet certification goals while staying on schedule. We manage documentation and submissions to LEED Online and provide LEED Enhanced Commissioning services, including drawing and specification reviews, while coordinating closely with the local commissioning provider responsible for field testing and onsite activities, in addition to offering full LEED certification services.

For construction management groups, our key offering is our Commissioning Management (CxM) service, through which we provide experienced leadership to contractors during critical project phases. We support pre-commissioning activities, milestone preparation, and system readiness—helping reduce delays, minimize change orders, and protect budgets.

As we are field specialists, we also offer Foreign Object and Debris (FOD) inspections, conducted prior to system energization, provide an additional layer of assurance, further reducing the risk of equipment damage and operational surprises at turnover.

For edge data center projects (~1MW), we offer Code MEP Commissioning Services (MEP Cx), where we review and test the systems from phases L2-L6 with contractor assistance.

AHA also delivers mission critical Due Diligence (DD) and Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) services for institutional owners and developers. Acting as a technical presence in the field, we assess facility conditions, evaluate equipment and infrastructure, and provide clear, actionable reporting. Through our web-based platform, clients gain secure, centralized access to project data, enabling informed decisions with confidence.

By combining hands-on field expertise with digital tools like Facility Grid, we simplify complex requirements, verify performance, and maintain clear communication across owners, contractors, and design teams. Our approach ensures systems operate efficiently from day one, protecting long-term reliability and operational performance. Across every engagement, AHA’s goal is consistent: reduce uncertainty, protect project outcomes, and deliver confidence at every milestone of the building lifecycle.
