Paul Fimian was a curious child who was always fascinated by building construction and how every component fit together. Years later, he would go on to study engineering at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology to find out for himself. Starting as a draftsman trainee in 1974, Paul has cultivated a rich career delivering a wide variety of project types for clients across the country, including corporate office spaces, residential developments, sports facilities, retail spaces and mission critical centers. Paul is a grandfather and husband first, Project Manager and Partner at AHA Consulting Engineers second. He finds joy in gardening and family time and knows that success is not always measured in exact analytics. To Paul, being successful is managing all of the many disciplines that work together to bring a project to life – and ensuring the client is satisfied every step of the way. Success is also meeting project deliverable deadlines, completing a project within budget and successfully commissioning a new space for satisfied end users. Paul has found that success throughout his four-decade career in the delivery of four million square feet of unique project spaces, including corporate office spaces for FM Global, the Mary Baker Eddy Museum retrofit and multiple higher educational projects for Northeastern University and Harvard University.
