Sustainability & Energy Department Manager - Lexington MA

We are currently seeking a Sustainability & Energy Department Manager in our Lexington MA office.

 

The position plays a key role in organization. The primary goal of the position is to work directly with clients, and be part of engineering teams to identify, analyze and quantify energy conservation projects across a range of industries and building types.

 

Responsibilities

•  Conducts facility site visits, analyzes current operations and produces concepts for facility improvement measures plans.

•  Assists the operations teams in the development of proposals and pricing. Interacts directly with customers during the process as necessary.

•  Applies building energy use simulation programs to develop energy models.

•  Prepares financial models related to payment including an understanding of ROI, life cycle costing and internal rate of return.

•  Investigates available utility and other rebates and incentives.

•  Performs utility company calculations and provides applications for utility incentives

•  Provides sustainability consulting and LEED Administration

•  Oversees, coordinates and schedules the Energy and Sustainability group

•  Serves as an in-house energy and sustainability resource

•  Performs design reviews to ensure design compliance

Qualifications:

Commissioning Specialist - Lexington MA and Alpharetta GA

We are currently seeking Commissioning Specialists in our Lexington MA and Alpharetta GA locations.

 

The Commissioning Specialist will manage all aspects of commissioning projects, primarily new construction or tenant fit-outs. The candidate will be expected to diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems. The Commissioning Specialist will also be expected to interface with clients, participate in internal quality control and deliver projects on time and on budget. The Commissioning Specialist will be expected to participate in industry conferences, obtain relevant industry certifications and to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical experience

•  Minimum of 2 years of commissioning experience

•  Ability to read, analyze and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings/specifications

Candidate will be responsible for utilizing their knowledge of the MEP industry to complete projects within electrical design. This position requires someone who needs little to no supervision. The candidate will be working with senior level electrical engineers to complete projects while coordinating with the mechanical department. This candidate will also be responsible for performing field surveys to obtain pertinent information for electrical system design.

 

Qualifications:

•  Successful candidates will have 3 or more years of electrical design experience for commercial, laboratory, and institutional facilities

Mechanical Project Engineer/HVAC - Philadelphia PA Area

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer – HVAC in the Philadelphia PA area.

 

Candidate will be take on tasks as a Project Manager, HVAC Project Engineer and Construction Administrator.  This person will  collaborate with AHA’s Project Manager/Construction Administrator presently leading UPenn projects.  You will have an auxiliary role collaborating with the AHA Business Development Team in identifying potential new  clients including architectural firms, owners, end users, developers and design/build contractors in the greater Philadelphia/mid-Atlantic region.  You will be participating in face-to-face meetings with potential new clients and participate with AHA Senior Management in the proposal development process for potential new projects.  Position may require local travel and occasional overnight travel.

 

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor’s degree – BSME or BSAE

•   On track to obtain PE

Candidate will be responsible for setting up Trade Drawings (Electrical, Fire, Mechanical, Plumbing, AV/Security) along with updating design support files, including external references & Revit models.  You will also take the role as a PCC (Project Cad Coordinator) for Jobs in Lexington and Cambridge.  Daily model management administration and maintenance, providing design software desktop support, over the shoulder training, developing and shadowing to staff, content creation: Families such as parametric, formula, nested and type catalogs and participating on projects that require addition BIM services will be part of your day.
